GCS Academy originated from our deep passion for soccer. Modeste Rouamba, the founder, has immersed himself in the world of soccer since the tender age of 3.

“Growing up, soccer served as the universal language that brought together all the children in my community,” he said.
Modeste’s affection for soccer motivated him to delve into American coaching methods when he relocated to the United States.

Beginning from the grassroots, he diligently earned his Y1, E, National D, C licenses, and currently, he proudly holds a USSF National B license.

Over the last thirteen years in the Valley, Modeste has actively engaged with numerous clubs. His journey includes coaching with Appleton Soccer, serving as the Director of Coaching (DOC) for the Electric City of Kaukauna, and presently holding the role of Executive Director at Riversurge FC. Throughout these experiences, Modeste has played a crucial role in fostering and contributing to the growth of skilled soccer players in the Valley.

Driven by his commitment to enhance soccer in the Valley, Modeste has earned the nickname “trainer without borders.” His influence extends beyond local clubs, including KASA in Kimberly, HOV in Little Chute, Freedom and Pulaski. Beyond state lines, Modeste has organized soccer camps in Scarsdale, upstate New York. His dedication to advancing the sport has earned him recognition both locally and beyond.In his quest to elevate soccer in the state, Modeste joined the coaching staff of the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). For the past nine years, he has served as a dedicated staff coach, assuming the role of head coach for the U13 boys age group over the last six years. Modeste’s commitment to nurturing young talent extends beyond local clubs, making a significant impact on the broader soccer landscape in Wisconsin.

Despite all these endeavors, Modeste recognized that there was still a crucial element missing to fully unlock the players’ potential:

•How can we support each player in elevating their soccer skills to the next level?

•How can we assist club coaches in enhancing their players’ training sessions?

• How can we support high school players in preparing for their upcoming season during both the off-season and pre-season periods?

• In conclusion, how can we foster the development of a new generation of soccer players?
